General Office Policies

At Maya Family Clinic, We strive to maintain a positive and productive work environment for all employees and visitors. Below are our general office policies that help ensure a smooth and harmonious operation.

Until further notice, we will require that all patients have masks when entering our office. We are limiting the amount of patients in the clinic and many patients will be asked to wait in their vehicles until called to enter the office. This is for the safety of all patients and staff. For new patients, please view and sign the patient clinic policy form available under the registration forms tab.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment 24 hour notice is required . A $20.00 fee will be charged if you fail to notify us. within 24 hours of your appointment.

Office Hours: Our regular office hours are 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Employees are expected to be present and ready to work during these hours. For any special circumstances or flexible work arrangements, please consult your supervisor.

Punctuality: Timeliness is essential. Please arrive at work and scheduled meetings on time. If you anticipate being late or unable to come to the office, notify your supervisor or the HR department in advance.

Dress Code: We maintain a professional work environment and expect employees to dress appropriately. The dress code is [casual/business casual/professional], and employees are required to adhere to it during office hours and any business-related events.

Confidentiality and Data Security: Protecting sensitive company and client information is crucial. All employees must maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols. Unauthorized sharing or access of confidential information is strictly prohibited.

Personal Belongings: While we provide lockers or designated storage areas, we encourage employees to minimize valuable personal belongings brought to the office. Maya Family Clinic is not responsible for any loss or theft of personal items.

Visitors and Guests: All visitors and guests must sign in at the reception and wear a visitor’s badge while on the premises. Employees are responsible for the conduct of their guests and ensuring they comply with office policies.

Use of Office Equipment and Resources: Office equipment, including computers, printers, and other resources, should be used for work-related purposes only. Any personal use must be minimal and non-disruptive to work tasks.

Communication and Respect: We value open and respectful communication. Treat all colleagues, superiors, and subordinates with courtesy and professionalism. Harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior will not be tolerated.

Smoking and Substance Abuse: Maya Family Clinic is a smoke-free and substance-free workplace. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the office premises, and the use of illegal substances is not tolerated.

Internet and Email Usage: Internet and email access is for work-related purposes. Employees should refrain from accessing inappropriate or non-work-related websites and avoid sharing confidential information via personal email accounts.

Social Media Usage: Exercise caution when discussing Maya Family Clinic or its employees on social media platforms. Respect company policies and confidentiality when expressing personal opinions online.
